Happy Thanksgiving! Mrs. McCulloch’s class has a “Poem of the Week.” This helps her class build fluency, vocabulary, and sometimes teaches them history. They recite the poem every day and study one aspect such as vocabulary words, watch youtube videos with professional performances, or learn the history of the poem or about the poet. This week’s poetry tuned into expressive words about an unfortunate cooking mishap.
