Tip Tuesday – Attendance is incredibly important in K-6 grade. Students lay a foundation for reading and math they can build on as they continue learning skills throughout their life. Kindergarten and 1st grade students that are chronically absent are shown to have a much harder time learning grade level math and reading skills by the time they are in 3rd grade, and it gets increasingly harder after that.
