Provo Peaks Elementary School

We want students to spend time outside getting fresh air and plenty of physical activity.   Here is important information regarding cold weather at Provo Peaks.

  • Have your child wear appropriate clothing for the weather
  • Label coats, gloves, hats, and jackets with your child’s name

Students in grades 3-6 will be outside in the mornings, if we need to bring students inside in the morning, they will go to the gym. We will open the doors  by the gym on the south side and west side.

All students will be outside at recess unless the following happen:

  • The real feel temperature (factoring wind chill) is below 20 degrees F.
  • It is raining
  • There is heavy snow
  • The air quality is bad

Thank you for helping us keep your kids warm this winter.

Sincerely,

Provo Peaks Staff
