Provo Peaks is proud to welcome our new Second Grade teacher, Mrs. Maughan! She is an excellent addition to our faculty and we are so happy she is here. Mrs. Maughan previously worked at Provo Peaks in Special Education classrooms, working on an Autism Studies Internship. She also spent time student teaching in Nebo School district last year in 1st and 5th grade. Mrs. Maughan studied at Utah State University, Boise State, and Utah Valley University! She says “I am passionate about education because there is growth and progression as someone is educated. I love being able to witness progress and see that something is making a difference”. Mrs. Maughan loves doing anything outdoors including camping, fishing, hiking, running, working out, and basically anything in the mountains! One fun fact about Mrs. Maughan is that she loves a good documentary!
