Provo Peaks is proud to welcome our new Social Worker, Mrs. Brooks! She is an excellent addition to our faculty and we are so happy she is here.

Before coming to Provo Peaks, Mrs. Brooks worked as a therapist at Mindful Counseling. She has also worked at the Utah State Hospital in the girls’ youth unit.

Mrs. Brooks received a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science (with an emphasis in psychology) and a Master’s degree of Social Work from Utah Valley University.

Mrs. Brooks says that she didn’t realize how much she loved to teach until she was working in private practice. Her goal as the social worker at Provo Peaks is to make every student feel like they belong and that they deserve to have their needs met.

Mrs. Brooks loves running, hiking, yoga, meditation, and playing with her puppy. She also loves game nights or movie nights with her family. If she gets stressed out, you’ll find her in the kitchen baking or cleaning.
